Sandy Patrick is the Office Manager for the Kentucky Physicians Health Foundation and has been employed there since December 1998. With 20 years of previous office experience, she handles all of the many facets of the day-to-day operations and long term planning for the office. This includes all business and financial aspects of the Foundation. She uses her years of administrative experience to manage the office staff, assist with technical issues, and provide reporting and updates to the various Boards the Foundation reports to. She brings additional experience from years of working in a solo physician office where her job duties ranged from managing the bills to patient care. The 17 successful yearly CAPTASA Conferences also give proof of her organizational and communication skills. Sandy is meticulous in her management of the event and has earned the admiration of hundreds of attendees who frequently comment on it being the best run conference of any dealing with addiction.
Sandy is married with two children and three grandchildren. She is a strong advocate for animal rights. With her husband’s assistance, Sandy has rescued many dozens of cats, and a few dogs, providing care for the rescues while working to rehab them and find them good homes. Several of these rescues have become permanent members of the Patrick family.
